Sorry for the bit of delay on this week’s news update, but I have been very busy this week. This week’s random stat is the Medic’s Syringe Gun. It was a close fight for the top 10 spot and each time I would check it the ladder should change. In the end we have Bill’s Vietnam Flashbacks just edging out a win over our very own Sye. This week we also have Eldo winning the most kills award and also our Player of the Week award for the most points. This makes Eldo’s fourth Player of the Week win and his third in a row. Right now Eldo’s reign seems unstoppable as he consistently delivers and wins a vast majority of the awards we offer. Can anyone stop his dominating performance and dethrone our current champion? Just a quick reminder that the brand new west coast server is live and operational, but is missing just one thing: players. Please try to make a conscious effort to seed the west coast server and make sure your sending invites out to your friends to get them to join you for some west coast fragging. For those of you who are interested the server’s IP address is 63.211.221.224:27015. We need you guys to seed and populate it until it builds a solid group of regulars. It may suck, and it may be boring right now but try to think about the long term gains to be had. Also please remember that the Community Leaders are more than willing to send out a Steam group spam to help you seed the servers.
Remember that tonight we will be hosting our TF2 Pro Pickup night. This is a really laidback casual approach to the 6v6 style of game play used to competitive players. Anyone is more than welcome to attend and see what this style of game play has to offer. Please visit this thread for more information and also please make sure you RSVP that you are attending. This will make it easier for us to run the event smoothly.
Our last bit of community news is one of personal joy for myself. For next week’s Community Game Night we will be playing Prop Hunt. Many of you may remember the great fun we had back when we had our own server.
